This is an interesting role for someone with Digital Asset Support experience. The position of an Analyst - Data Scientist, will be a hybrid role reporting to the Glasgow office, working with an inovative team of experts in the analytics team. If you're prepared to give your best, you can learn and grow quickly.Key Responsibilities:Work with the data· Develop and enhance datasets to support the development of analytical insight delivery, working with existing technologies and identifying new and relevant technologies· Carry out data discovery to understand the strength and limitations of the data, uncover hidden patterns, and proactively identify hidden insights· Develop predictive models using relevant data, which improve insight and support insight-driven decision making· Create useable, scalable and repeatable processes which are flexible to support the evolving needs of the business, identifying continual areas of improvementWork with the team· Work closely with business partners to understand key challenges, data, processes and products, to identify opportunities for analytics to drive value, and build data products that inform decision-making· Effectively communicate with key stakeholders to present findings, and contribute to identifying new opportunities where analytics can drive value and performance across the business· Provide technical expertise to the team, bringing new ideas from academia and industry to the wider organisation· Deliver ad hoc analytical projects and / or research as required alongside other relevant tasks requested by the Data Science LeadMaintain best practice· Document data and statistical models in a proportionate way to business requirements· Maintain best-practice standards in coding, reporting and communicationProfessional skills / experienceTechnical capability· Highly numerate, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail· Experience in creating and using statistical models, for example; cluster analysis, decision trees, regression, propensity modelling, Bayesian, NLP, machine learning, AI, and other· Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills and proficiency within Python/SQL/R /Java/Hive, or similarCollaboration and communication· Excellent team player with the ability to effectively collaborate with the team and the business· A track record of working on own initiative and demonstrating proactivity, with the ability to introduce fresh thinking to the role and the wider team
