Design Engineer

AVIATION DESIGN ENGINEER

Location: Basel, Switzerland

Pay: Minimum CHF44.91 for level 1

Contract: Minimum 6 months

My client who is based in Basel, Switzerland, is one of the leading business aviation services companies in the world. Providing maintenance, avionics, completions and refurbishment, and paint services, are currently looking for several design engineers to work from their base in Switzerland

Role

• Design and develop cabin furnishings
• Modification services Structures & Systems

Requirements

• Familiar with general aircraft design rules & practices
• Familiar with EASA & FAA regulation; FAR 25, JAR 25, CS 25 regulations
• Proficient with CAE & CAD tools (i.e. AutoCAD, Catia V5, Siemens NX, Teamcenter, etc), and Microsoft Office
• Language English (mandatory), French and/or German (nice to have)
• Demonstrate compliance against applicable regulation
• Write technical specifications & technical proposals
