Workshop Engineer - refrigeration

We are recruiting for a workshop engineer to carry out deep repairs and maintenance on refrigeration and temperature control equipment. This position is entirely workshop based and will not require travel. Candidates should have the ability to carry out repairs to a variety of temperature control equipment.

The role:

- This organisation sends temperature control equipment out to the whole of the UK and Northern Europe to perform temperature control tasks for their customers.

- When this equipment is returned it may need heavy repairs (replacement of Evaporators or Compressors or Coils), the workshop engineers carry out this repair work and test the equipment before it is released back into service.

- The role will require F-Gas certification along with the ability to carry out Brazing activities.

- The successful applicant will have experience of working on Temperature control equipment carrying out maintenance/workshop level repairs to this equipment.

In return the role offers a competitive salary, a yearly bonus (up to 10% of your salary) along with a generous pension and additional benefits. This position would suit a field service engineer who wishes to stop travelling or someone who enjoys full time stable work (Monday to Friday 8 - 4.30 + overtime) within a workshop environment.
