Contracts Co-ordinator


Our client, a leading manufacturer who have been operating since the early 1990's and who support clients in both the UK and overseas is looking to strengthen their commercial team by the recruitment of a Contracts Co-ordinator.

You will be responsible for all aspects of your allocated contracts to ensure they are completed on time, to customer satisfaction and within contractual terms


  • Contact point for both client and internal departments with questions regarding the contract.
  • Maintain a good overview of your current projects.
  • Chase and obtain contract from customer if not already received.
  • Review contract (liaise with external contract support) if required.
  • Maintain schedule of costs
  • Produce summary sheet for the contract
  • Identify risks and value.
  • Identify key dates and establish if they can be achieved.
  • Ensure contract is signed.
  • Acknowledge and log contract application criteria.
  • Ensure drawings have been approved and the renegotiation of contract dates if they are not.
  • Ensure client supplied items have arrived in good time and to plan.
  • You will be responsible for any project plans that are required.
  • Advise clients if we have issues with milestones.
  • Calculate the price for work to be sub-contracted.
  • Produce schedule of completed work costs vs revenue on a monthly return.
  • Instruct purchase orders to be issued.
  • Make sure Sub-Contractors are aware and buy into our constraints/risks.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role however candidates will be considered who have strong administrative/ organisation skills that can be transferred. Key requirements for this role include being methodical, accurate and the ability to meet contractual deadlines
