£competitive Salary and OTE

We are currently working with a leading manufacturer of safety products with the recruitment of a Sales Account Manager to strengthen their sales team.

The purpose of this role will be to manage and provide efficient and effective support internally for the field sales team within your defined area. You will also be required to close orders and achieve targets set.

Key Duties:

  • Hit call targets, F2F appointments and sales targets
  • Maintaining telephone contact with all tenders and contacts quoted. Build rapport until sale is closed
  • Responsible for all sales as defined within given area
  • Documentation and admin associated with call process
  • Collating all forecast figures and using this information to increase sales within quieter periods
  • Closing orders by telephone
  • Assist in telephone answering Internal sales back up for Field Sales Representative
  • Prepare figures with Field Sales for sales meetings
  • Fill in daily and weekly sales reports
  • Work with the team estimator to process all quotes and enquiries and send out within the specified deadlines
  • Evaluate all sales enquiry
  • Prepare costing's and actually quote in busy periods
  • Service all customers within the given sales area, liaise with OperationsIdeally you will have experience of working within B2B sales, ideally gained within manufacturing however, manufacturing is not essential. Proven sales ability and the determination to succeed are the key attributes for this role.
