Operational Procurement Manager


£negotiable depending on experience

A fantastic opportunity within a prestigious national and international business to work within integrated facilities management service, providing complete property maintenance and facilities services to clients to help them achieve success in their own business.

To help facilitate this and based at their Head Office, they are looking to recruit an Operational Procurement Manager to provide effective leadership and management of operational procurement teams. You will be required to deliver a culture of exceptional procurements services through proactive engagement with contract teams, procurement stakeholders and suppliers.

You will also be required to co-ordinate all activities with the Business Development Supply Chain Manager, Commodity and Operational Manager and Process and Systems Manager

The person

  • An experienced purchasing professional with experience of implementing sustainable procurement objectives
  • In depth understanding of supply chain methodology
  • Commercially Aware
  • Proven ability to motivate, coach and develop others
  • Ability to instigate change
  • Customer centric
  • Ability to travel UK wide
