Control Systems Engineer - SCADA

Work on cutting-edge technology and capabilities whilst applying Control Systems Engineering techniques in a very specific fashion on strategically important National Defence Programmes.

To provide SCADA engineering excellence as a member of the Control Systems Software team delivering software design and development expertise for maritime control and instrumentation systems.

You will be working on defence related projects and will be required to undergo security clearance - please get in touch for further details.

Your Responsibilities:

• Specify, design and test solutions for SCADA and other high level control systems
• Develop SCADA software from multiple design formats such as Block Diagrams, Flow Charts and Pseudo Code
• Manage data communications with third party equipment
• Validate software designs through analysis and test
• Comply with company standards of conduct and all relevant statutory requirements

Your Experience:

• Design and integration of Complex, large scale SCADA control systems
• Production of technical documentation
• High level system interfacing and database configuration
• Proven experience in a software engineering environment
• Degree, HND, HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic engineering or a related discipline e.g., C&I engineering, Systems engineering
