Summary Our client is one of the leading Waste to Energy companies in London and are currently looking to recruit a EAISA manager on a 6-month fixed term contract, to support our NLHPP (north London heat and power project) team located in Edmonton, north London. Main purpose and scope of the job You will be responsible to develop and lead the asset data register team and requirements for the enterprise asset management systems (EAMS) during all stages from concept to implementation of solutions. You will work under the direction of the head of asset management and work closely with other managers across the company to develop company policies and standards with regards to data governance and management.

Duties and key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain asset and work management systems to implement the whole life-cycle asset management approach within the company. Interface with other departments to capture systems' requirements, develop and implement the enterprise asset management system (Microsoft dynamics 365, maximo).
  • Act as a product owner, subject matter expert and lead technical reviewer for the company's eam requirements (Microsoft dynamics 365, maximo, etc). Take lead and ownership in producing reports, feasibility studies, business cases etc to implement continuous improvements in the company's it and OT management systems.
  • Develop, manage and deliver an effective asset tagging system to coordinate all asset management related activities with regards to the company's asset register.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing integrated asset information management systems and processes to improve reporting and business intelligence. Advise departments across the company and develop enterprise asset information management solutions to optimise systems' usage.
  • Ensure quality and consistency of asset management data is maintained to the highest standards within the EAM modules and develop insights from such data using power bi, power query, python etc. Interface with all other departments regarding their activities and ensure these are recorded accurately within the EAM modules.
  • Compile weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to demonstrate compliance with the company's controls procedures, processes, and systems. Identify variances from the compliance, mitigate risks, produce comprehensive reports and lead improvements where inadequacies are identified.
  • Lead engagement and relationships with vendors/suppliers to develop and implement tailored asset management solutions at the company.
  • Taking responsibility for the site safety rules and their implementation and updating/amending as required.
  • Provide direction, guidance, motivation and leadership to all personnel under their control, ensuring that under-performance is addressed and excellent performance recognised.
  • Oversee staff development through structured training programs which provide measurable improvements in productivity, resource utilisation and succession planning.

Skills and abilities

  • As a proven hands-on EAM leader, you will be capable of motivating and inspiring a team to work enthusiastically.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities, be self-driven with strong interpersonal skills and able to manage and coach the operations team.
  • Ability to conduct workshops, gather functional and non-functional requirements, produce development and improvement plans.


  • Extensive enterprise of managing an asset management system in a utility operational setting and good understanding of maintaining an accurate and complete asset register for an effective and safe operation of a power plant.
  • Hands-on experience of developing and maintaining d365 and/or maximo.
  • Experience of training and development of staff.
  • Good understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation, regulations, guidance and systems.

Knowledge & qualifications

  • It related project delivery qualification and degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ISO 55000 suite of standards
  • Institute of asset management diploma or be prepared to pass within 6 months.
