Electrical Engineer - Offshore Wind

Role - Electrical Engineer Location - Home Based with occasional travel to Scotland Office Start Date - ASAP Duration - 12 Months + possible extension Rates - £650 - £700 Daily Rate via Umbrella (Inside IR35)

The successful candidate will ideally be a Power System Engineer with a background in offshore wind farm connections

Requirements:

• BSc or similar in Electrical Engineering
• Strong understanding of Electrical & Site Safety
• Experience with Offshore Wind Projects
• Full UK Right to Work
• Must be prepared to go through standard background checks
• Ideally based in Scotland

Other key attributes are:

• Required to have a strong understanding in dynamic modelling and wind farm control
• Required to have experience in stakeholder management of NG ESO, consultants and contractors
• Experience of non-conformance with grid code compliance issues an advantage
