Assembly Technician

Carbon60 are currently recruiting for an Assembly Technician in a permanent role based in Hayes, within a global aviation company. The role involves working on the preparation of parts for landing gear on aircraft.

Responsibilities and Duties

• To clean and prepare parts ready for treatment and paint.
• To transfer and move components to the required operation.
• To fully ensure KPI targets are consistently met to ensure customers deadlines are met.
• To ensure sealant is mixed correctly and parts are worked on to industry standards.
• Any tasks or duties undertaken should follow in compliance to company and EASA safety/environmental standards.

Skills and Qualifications

The role is that of an entry level position, so the candidate must fulfil the following:

• Occasional heavy lifting is required
• Keen eye for detail
• An aptitude for engineering/aerospace
• Be willing to work overtime
• Candidates must have full working rights in the UK

Working hours for the role are:

• Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30
