Mechanical AP Supervisor

Mechanical Engineering Supervisor with Authorised Person qualification required for long term (12 month +) project in the Docklands area of London. Ideally you will have previous experience working on Data Centre projects, with a scope of works including ductwork, cooling systems, pipework, extraction, and other general mechanics. Duties will include:

• Supervising established sub-contractors on a day-to-day basis.
• Ensuring full compliance with H&S standards and relevant site documentation.
• Ensure mechanical works are carried out safely and in compliance with requirements.
• Installation, commissioning, operating and maintaining mechanical systems.
• Daily progress reporting to the M&E Project Manager
• Carrying out Inspection and Audit reviews to monitor compliance with quality, safety codes, and other regulations

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Current SMSTS or SSSTS
• Current Authorised Person qualification
• Demonstrable experience of supervising large commercial mechanical projects
• Data Centre experience would be a big advantage
• Excellent communication skills

This is a long-term opportunity for between 1 & 3 years and would suit individuals available for an immediate start, who are a commutable distance to the Docklands area of London.
