The Site Project Engineer is responsible for monitoring, supervising and reporting construction activities and compliance to the project design criteria. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Site Project Engineer to join a global leader in the renewable energy sector.Your role of Site Project Engineer will involve, but not be limited to:
- Studies and understands each project's design provided by the engineering headquarters. Crosschecks and finds possible errors and reports to the Construction Manager.
- Reports verbally on a daily basis to the Construction Manager regarding the construction progress and the materials received.
- Monitors the stock of construction materials
- Supervises and supports subcontractor activities and compliance to the design.
- Communicates design changes and updates to the subcontractors and ensures compliance.
- Monitors and ensures subcontractors quality controls in place.
- Implements the project quality control program.
- Overviews each subcontractor's installation work quality and the precision to the design. Reports to the Construction Manager with evidence every time there is a quality breach.
- Evaluates construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans according to experience.
- Investigates damages, accidents or delays at the site, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.
- Supports the implementation of corporate H&S procedures.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:The Site Project Engineer will be expected to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- University or Technical Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role within an EPC environment, preferably from a solar PV or renewable energy background
- Technical competence
- Excellent use of Bulgarian and English Language
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
- Advanced use of AutoCAD software
- Work under pressure
- Organizational skills
- Open to candidates who are legally entitled to work in the EU
