HSSE Manager

The HSSE Manager ensures, in accordance with my client's Corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the Company Health, Safety & Environmental Systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for HSSE Manager to join a global leader in the renewable energy sector.The role of HSSE Manager will involve, but not be limited to:

• Responsible for creating and maintaining the regional HSSE documentation according to local regulations and my client's corporate guidelines
• Responsible for creating and monitoring the project specific HSSE documentation for all projects under his/her control (HSSE Plan, Traffic Management Plan, Waste Management Plan, Risk Assessments, Method Statements etc.)
• Liaises with authorities regarding environmental and H&S issues
• Receives weekly HSSE reports from the Site HSSE Managers
• Audits the construction sites at least once per month to ensure compliance.
• Collects all HSSE documentation from all Subcontractors.
• Produces monthly HSSE reports for all active projects to the Project Director and Corporate HSSE Manager.
• Performs market research and selection of suppliers for PPE, waste management equipment etc.
• Leads accident and incident investigations.
• Trains HSSE Site Managers and Supervisors to my client's HSSE System and standards
• Promotes and maintains a zero-accident policy

Essential Skills / Qualifications:The HSSE Manager will be expected to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• University Degree in Management or Engineering
• 5+ years' experience in a similar role
• Must have experience from EPC construction sites including medium and high voltage electrical works
• NEBOSH or other similar certification
• Excellent use of Bulgarian and English Language
• Excellent use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
• Open to candidates who are legally entitled to work in the EU
