Electrician

Carbon60 are currently recruiting for an Electrician required in a permanent role based in Hayes at a global aviation company. The role involves working with other highly skilled electricians, wiring and producing sub- assemblies for landing gear. Responsibilities and duties

• Assemble and install cable harnesses and wiring looms, using hand tools.
• Visually check for faults and perform testing procedures on assembled electrical components.
• You will be required to keep a PREB (Practical Record Experience Book)
• Any tasks or duties undertaken should follow in compliance to company and EASA safety/environmental standards
• Read and adhere to electrical schematics and CMMs, to a precise standard.

Skills and Qualifications The ideal candidate must fulfil the following requirements:

• Experience working in an Aerospace environment or equivalent.
• Candidate to have previous cable harness assembly experience (Desirable)
• Candidate to have completed apprenticeship or equivalent (Desirable)
• Ability to work in a workshop environment and follow safety procedures, wearing correct PPE and safety materials at all times.
• Ability to communicate well in written and spoken English.
• Candidate must have full working rights in the UK.

Candidates would be required to work double day shifts:

• Week 1: Monday to Friday: 06:0014:00
• Week 2: Monday to Friday: 14:0022:00
