Due to ongoing expansion plans and internal reorganisation, we are delighted to announce the open position of Production Supervisor.

Our client is a long-established and highly respected contract electronics manufacturer (CEM) based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. with established customer partnerships across a range of industry sectors.

Reporting to the Head of Production, the role will provide effective supervision of the Assembly and Test areas to ensure customer and business requirements are consistently achieved.

The successful applicant will have current and proven experience working within the electronics manufacturing industry. Responsibility for SMT, PTH Assembly and test production which includes Pick and Place, AOI, Screen Printing and Reflow Systems. The applicant should have at least 3 years supervisory or management experience in a similar environment.

Looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated and reliable candidates to join the team, you must be computer literate in all the basic packages with a desire to achieve continuous improvements and good attention to detail. You must be able to work independently and as part of a small cohesive team. It is not essential to be competent in all areas of the job description as training can be given, although there needs to be experience in some of the relevant skills.
