Field Service Engineer

Our client are a leading Engineering & Industrial Services Provider with over 300 sites across the UK and Republic of Ireland. Requirements are available for Field Service Technicians to cover the Birmingham, Sheffield and Cumbria etc. You will be working with a business who offer specialised engineering services, offering a wide range of engineering components, technical services and customised solutions across all areas of industry.Products range from flow control, power transmission to bearings with services ranging from maintenance, repair and replacement through to specialist engineering.As this position is a Field Service role, you base location will be at a local Haydock. Ideally you would be based within easy commuting distance of this area to collect tools and materials when needed. You will be supplied with a van and be paid for any work outside of your core hours. The activities of the role are essentially the strip-down, fault finding, remedial repair and re-assembly of the following types of equipment on customer sites:

• Rotating equipment
• Pumps
• Gearboxes
• Motors

We are looking for both mechanical and electrical skilled technicians ideally NVQ level 3 or similar certified.
