Based around the Northampton area of Northamptonshire close to Corby, Kettering, Brackley, Wellingborough and Daventry in the East Midlands.

To carry out a variety of Fire alarm installations, commissioning, reactive and Planned and Preventative Maintenance works regionally within a variety of sectors covering the UK, providing a professional service, and working in accordance with FIA and regulation standards.

Duties

• To assemble, install, test, and maintain commercial fire alarm systems.
• Commission new fire alarm installs.
• To diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem attempting in all instances to provide a first visit fix
• To attend all reactive works within your specified region, meeting SLA targets (if applicable)
• To attend all planned works to test or maintain electrical equipment/installations.

Qualifications/Training

• City & Guilds 2382 18^th Edition
• Full UK Driving License
• FIA: Install, Maintenance & Commissioning
• Minimum 1 years' experience in a similar role
• Able to test own installation work.
