Procurement Engineer

The Role:

I am currently recruiting a proven, degree qualified Procurement Engineer with an electrical or mechanical background, for a permanent / staff position in the UK. To be considered for my client's construction management team the candidate will need to demonstrate experience in Industrial or/and Energy Sectors. The candidate will work closely with my Client's Project Management team.

Key responsibilities:

The position holder shall be responsible for the implementation of Procurement for Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical components for large scale energy projects.

Requirements:

• BSc of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Previous experience in the Industrial or/and Energy Sectors, 3-6 years.
• Excellent use of English language
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, Autocad,
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Able to work under tight deadlines.
• The candidate shall be familiar with industry codes and standards.
