Material Supplier - Aviation

Carbon60 are working in partnership with a leading airline at Heathrow in order to recruit a number of Material Suppliers to support their maintenance operations. The focus of the position will be to receive, store and distribute aircraft components and tools.

This is a permanent position and will require the successful candidate to hold a driving licence and eventually obtain airside passes which will involve referencing and DBS checks. Due to the nature of airside passes, the candidate will need long-term working rights within the UK and would have already lived within the country for the past few years.

The position will involve working on a shift pattern, on a 2-day 2-night basis with the working hours of 7 AM to 7 PM for a day shift and 7 PM to 7 AM for a night shift.

Key responsibilities for the role:

• Ensure accurate receipt of materials, load, and unload components at delivery locations around Heathrow.
• Processing of invoices regarding purchases, sales, and loans.
• Maintain accurate stock of materials through audits and the usage of SAP software.
• Sorting of components to ensure they adhere to aviation quality standards.

Requirements:

• Valid UK Driving Licence (Minimum 12 months of experience)
• Able to cope with occasional heavy lifting.
• Demonstrable experience in stock control ideally utilising SAP software.
