
We're currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to work with our trusted partner in Dorchester, leading a diverse construction team and completing an office refurbishment to create a new NHS outpatient department over 3 floors, as part of the ProCure 22 framework. This is a £7million heavy office refurb project on an existing 10 year old office block. The scope will entail mainly of M&E works as well as partitioning, ceilings, floors, walls, decoration & furniture. You will be responsible for the leadership and management of Site Managers, Site Supervisors and 60 contractors / site personnel. - Management of the works and managing a team on site to safely deliver the works safely, on time and to budget.
- Manage day to day operations to ensure construction is conducted in a safe manner.
- Manage commercials, budget, and detail any issued to the senior management teams.
- Ensure program schedule is maintained and delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining a high quality of work.
- Ensure the project is delivered in accordance with the appropriate standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Carrying out regular inspections to monitor performance and ensure health & safety compliance throughout the construction process.
- Manage subcontractors and direct labour resources.

- Assist the estimating team in the preparation of the project estimate or cost plans.
- Contribute to work planning, and briefing project teams, contractors, and suppliers.
- Undertake full handover of projects / packages of work.
Requirements
- Must have experience as Project Manager within a similar role
- This project is fast track and will turn over £1m+ a month so the candidate must have experience managing projects of a similar size and value.
- Previous experience on ProCure 22 framework / NHS or healthcare sector / Hospital refurbs, extensions, and new builds / Office refurbs
- Office fitout bias
- Must have experience managing a team
- Healthcare sector with HTM / HBN knowledge is desirable
- Must have experience working on a live site
- CSCS black card (essential)
- NVQ level 6 or 7 (preferable)
- SMSTS (essential)
- First Aid at Work Course (essential)
- Asbestos Awareness / Removal (essential)
- Relevant degree or HND / HNC qualification (essential)
- Knowledge of CDM regulations & building regulations (essential)
- Excellent communication and organisation (essential)
- NEBOSH (preferable)
- IOSH (preferable)
- Scaffold awareness (preferable)
