Field Service Engineer

Carbon60 are currently working with a renowned manufacturing company who manufacture power generators and thermal solutions, a company who are striving for a better future. We are hiring immediately for a Field Service Engineer - Power based out of their Washington depot, a role that is critical in making sure their customers get the electricity, heating and cooling they need.

This is a permanent position based out of the Washington depot. Due to this position being a Field Service Engineer you must have a valid driving licence. For all field roles - offshore work is required so individual must be trained or willing to be trained.

Responsibilities:

• A service per SWI and B service as per SWI
• Be able to carry out control equipment replacement and parameter change.
• Multi generator synchronising, servicing and maintenance.

• Minor and major repair of all fleet
• Service oil fired heaters and boilers as per SWI.

Requirements:

• Mechanical and or Electrical background preferably with technical capabilities in power and ideally temperature control.
• A City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent is desirable.
• Alternatively, if not qualified to the above, individual must have good grounding in mechanical engineering and be willing to undertake any training provided to attain these qualifications.
• Full, clean, and valid driving licence.
• Able to work out of hours and participate in the on-call rota.

This Field Service Engineer position offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The hiring company offer a diverse working environment and promote equality. The working hours for this position are Monday - Friday 08:00am - 16:00pm. Due to it being field based you will also be provided with a company van, fuel card and door to door payments on top of your basic salary.
