Workshop Fitters

Carbon60 are currently looking for Workshop Fitters to join a large engineering and industrial services provider. The position is based on site, in Southampton.

The Workshop Fitter role is a contract position with a prospect to go permanent. This will be mainly workshop based, with a requirement to work off site occasionally supporting customers.

The role includes:

• Servicing and maintaining of all rotating equipment including motors (AC/DC), pumps of types, gearboxes (mainly inline) and other rotating equipment such as generators.
• Providing Management and Customers with reports, Key Performance Indicators, and feedback within agreed time frames where required.

The role requires:

• A multi skilled engineer capable of working on, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical industrial rotating equipment, Pumps & Gearboxes whilst working to and complying with the company's health & safety procedures and adhering to company SSW & RAMS.

The company offer a wide range of engineering components, technical services, and engineering solutions across multiple sectors. The Southampton site works with their field engineers who cannot repair the equipment on-site and need further support from the workshop.

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 39hrs per week

Monday - Thursday - 07:00 - 15:30 Friday - 07:30 - 14:30
