Maintenance Technician (Plumbing Bias) - Facilities Management - Cork - 47,860 Euro's plus excellent benefits

This company, one of the leading players in the FM world, are recruiting a Maintenance Technician (Plumbing Bias) to be based at a client's site in Kinsale, Cork. The facility is a high-tech manufacturing company with a leading product on a global basis.

Location: Kinsale, Cork

Salary: 47,860 Euro's plus excellent benefits

Hours of work: 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 3:00pm Friday.

The Role

• Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
• Respond to plumbing emergencies and diagnose and resolve plumbing issues.
• Install, maintain, and repair sanitary units and associated fixtures.
• To work within a self-managed team of multi-skilled technicians and contractors.
• Manage own and others safety across all contracts under Contract remit.
• Maintain quality relationships with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
• Ensure the completion of all PM's, reactive work orders and projects in line with SLA.
• Be Technically proficient in the operation of minor facilities works across services including though not limited to:

1. Assist Technicians with Minor civil and carpentry projects.
2. Provide support to the other trades when requested.

The Person

• 3 to 5 Years post qualification in relevant facilities role.
• Experience of operating within a highly regulated environment.
• Experience with CMMS an advantage.
• Must have completed the Advance Certificate Craft - Plumbing, Level 6.
• Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance procedures used in the trade of plumbing.
• To work within a self-managed team of multi-skilled technicians and contractors.
• Must have held a full driving licence for a minimum of 2 years.
