This role involves turning and working on aircraft components within fine limits to company regulations.

We are looking for someone who can work with minimal supervision and uses their initiative whilst working with complex machinery.

This role adheres to shift work Monday to Friday 6.30am to 2.30pm and 2pm to 10pm in rotation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established manual turner or machinist to hone and develop their skills within a supporting environment.

Roles and responsibilities

• To operate all types of lathes to fine limits.
• To be able to read and understand technical drawings.
• To work with manual lathes to fine tolerances.
• Operate CNC and grinding machines.
• Any duties undertaken in compliance with Safety and Environmental Regulations and Company Procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

This role would require potential candidates to meet the following requirements:

• Knowledge and ability to operate all types of lathes.
• To have experience in a workshop environment and follow safety procedures, always wearing the correct PPE and safety materials.
• Good written and spoken English.
• You must have full working rights in the UK.
