
We're currently looking for a Finishing Foreman to work on a permanent basis with one of our trusted partners across North West England Region. You will cover mainly Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire & Lancashire areas on projects circa £10-20M with various project sizes and complexities. Our client is a leading UK building, infrastructure, engineering and fit-out company who deliver vital projects across a range of sectors including health, education, highways, justice, defence, aviation, water and environment. As a UK regional contractor, they provide specialist design and build capabilities and are experienced at project management and integrating all aspects of a project.With over 130 years of experience in the construction and engineering sector, they are a trusted partner of central and local government and are used to working closely with customers and supply chain to achieve outstanding results.Duties:
- Overseeing technical compliance of key projects
- Oversee the business management systems and ensure compliance with process
- Overseeing work sections and ensuring works is completed to programme
- Manage / supervise construction workers and contractors on site co-ordinating works
- Reporting on progress to senior managers
- Conducting Quality & safety inspections
- Maintain quality control checks
- Ensuring works are finished to agreed standards
- Sign off and handing completed works over
- Working with the Site Managers to successfully handover the buildings
- Snagging of buildings
- Coordinating with supply-chain and management to complete works
- Achieving agreed deadlines
Professional experience and certs required:
- Previous experience in the role essential
- Trade background
- Ideally familiar with Fieldview
- Computer Literate
- CSCS Black or White card
- SMSTS / SSSTS
- First Aid at Work
- CITB Health and Safety
