HVAC Engineer - Reading, England - £42,000 Plus Fantastic Benefits

Are you an enthusiastic HVAC Engineer looking for a new role?

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the largest facilities management companies in the UK, based at one of their prestigious Clients sites in Reading.

Location: Reading, England

Hours of Work: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Salary: £42,000 Plus fantastic Benefit

Role Responsibilities:

• To carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks on a variety of plant, equipment, and industrial service supplies including the HVAC Plant and all associated Equipment, Industrial / Commercial Chillers, and various split systems
• To carry out reactive repair tasks on-site plant and equipment like the above.
• To undertake all duties in a safe, tidy, and responsible manner following Health & Safety requirements.
• To ensure that spares and materials are used cost-effectively.
• To carry out other duties as may reasonably be requested from time to time by site management or the client.
• To work as an on-call duty engineer as part of a team rota
• To complete site work order documentation to required site standards.
• To carry out other duties that may be reasonably requested

The Ideal Candidate:

• Solid background within a similar role.
• Relevant trade qualifications for the industry, e.g., NVQ, C&G, etc
• Electrically qualified or competent
• Refrigerant handling certification
• Knowledge of Permit to Work System.
• Ability to sustain effective relationships
• Undertaken relevant Health and Safety Training. (Or willing to undertake relevant training)
• Some Knowledge of Building Management Systems would be an advantage
