HVAC Engineer Permanent - Waltham on the Wolds Salary: £36,000pa + great benefits Full Time - 40 hrs pw Mon- Friday 8am-4.30pm We are pleased to present this is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, diligent, focused individual that really want to make a difference in an exciting, state of the art facility. HVAC Engineer will undertake maintenance and reactive activity, to a wide range of Air Conditioning systems located in commercial and industrial premises. In addition undertake activity within your competence to support the team in the undertaking of all other M&E building services including but not limited to Fan Coil units, Air Handling Units, BMS systems etc.

• HVAC Engineer will be an essential part of the campus engineering team who will ensure the safe operation and repair of all M&E building services and fabric equipment on the site.
• Take part in a rota to provide a reactive maintenance service outside operating hours of the site.
• Working in line with the Permit to Work System.
• HVAC Engineer will work to implement systems that will ensure plant is maintained and operated to its optimum efficiency.
• Use of IT systems (Handheld device) as part of the CAFM system.
• Work in line with issued Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work
• Professional management of working with chemicals including safe disposal
• Undertake training and appointment as a Competent Person in appropriate disciplines.?
• HVAC Engineer will be proactive to identify and report faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve.?
• Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.?

Essential

• HND or NVQ or equivalent in a relevant subject?
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Numerate and computer literate.?
• Physically fit and able to perform the role.
• Excellent Time Management
• Flexibility
• Driving licence

Desirable

• IOSH Passport or CSCS Card?
• Qualified to C&G 2079/11?
• PASMA Licence
• IPAF Licence
