Maintenance Handyperson required for full time permanent building maintenance and repair role in Bristol

Working as part of the on site maintenance team, performing straightforward planned maintenance and reactive repair.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK A CONTINENTAL SHIFT PATTERN - 4 ON 4 OFF NIGHTS AND DAYS

• £22,650 pa plus £3000 shift allowance
• Holiday pay and annual pay reviews
• Continental shift pattern - 4 on 4 off - days and nights
• Very stable and secure job in an award winning facilities maintenance organisation.

Essential Candidate Requirements:

• Time served experience as a building maintenance person, or facilities maintenance and repair person
• Willingness to work a continental shift pattern - 4 on 4 off - Nights and Days - ESSENTIAL
• Good all round maintenance and reactive repair experience
• Bristol (site is very easy to get to via public transport)

Principal Duties

• Basic plumbing work
• Very basic electrical work
• Repair of doors and windows, latches, hinges and changing locks
• General all round straight forward planned maintenance and reactive repair
• Working 4 on 4 off nights and days - Continental shift pattern
• Bristol

£22,650 pa plus £3000 shift allowance, yearly pay reviews, stable and secure role

Perfect for a maintenance and repair person with experience of planned maintenance and reactive repair. Would be highly suitable for applicants who have previously worked as a maintenance person, caretaker, repair person or handyperson and live in areas such as Bristol, Patchway, Clifton, Southmead, Bradley Stoke, Filton and the nearby Bristol areas
