Condition Monitoring Technician

Carbon60 are looking for a Condition Monitoring Technician to out of their depot in Pensnett. This is a permanent position that offers an opportunity to join a diverse and esteemed engineering company.

This is a field based position where although you will be employed under the Pensnett depot you will be travelling around each day to customer sites. This position comes with a company vehicle.

Duties:

• Condition monitoring, vibration analysis on motors and pumps.
• Dynamic balancing (Using weights to reduce vibration on fan unit).
• Optical gas camera imaging.
• Thermal imaging camera surveys.
• Schedule of customers, different.
• Covering the various areas
• Day trips almost entirely. Overnight stays occasionally.
• Purely field based. No requirement to be in office.

• Perform analysis of vibration data and provide detailed reports
• Control own work day & Diary, this must be documented for manager.
• Excel spreadsheet based on customer visits and time frames - All explained when they start.

Person Specification:

• Full UK Driving License
• Minimum Cat I Vibration Analysis trained & Certified
• Preferably Cat II Vibration Analysis trained & Certified
• Experience in Infra-red thermography
• Experience in acoustic emissions
• Served recognised electrical / mechanical apprenticeship.
• CCNSG certified.

This Condition Monitoring Technician offers the working hours of Monday - Friday - 38 hours per week. We are looking to starts interviews ASAP which will be held either face to face or Teams.
