I am currently recruiting for a proven Electrical Package Manager for a permanent / staff positions in Suffolk. To be considered for my client's construction management team the Electrical Package Manager will ideally need to demonstrate experience in the EPC of large-scale renewable energy projects. The Electrical Package Manager will work closely under my client's project management team to manage the on-site operations during the construction period to ensure on schedule completion and compliance with the company's quality standards. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate electrical design, work with consultants and subcontractors
  • Supervise the progress of work
  • Prepare the project programme, including the delivery strategy and ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Ensure smooth and timely flow of information between all parties to the contract.
  • Endeavour to identify and predict potential bottlenecks and delays and action remedies
  • Keeping the project stakeholders informed of progress, cost, and any other relevant issues.
  • Review project scope, and manage the budget and schedule.
  • Participate in design reviews.
  • Manage safety and quality aspects of the project in accordance with company procedures
  • Agree valuations and final accounts with contractors and sub-contractors.
  • Review issues to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience in a similar position (Experience within large scale energy projects would be a distinct advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of computer applications, especially Microsoft suite programs
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Open to candidates who are legally entitled to work in the UK.
