HGV Technician - Ferryhill

We are currently recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join our Ferryhill team. You would join a well-known established company who specialise in providing solutions for Ecological Transformation.

Roles and responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the day to day service, MOT preparation and repairs of our HGV's.
• You will keep our HGV's safely on the road, so our street side operatives can carry out their duties for our millions of customers.
• Responsible for carrying out routine vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, fault finding and repairs to ensure our fleet is reliable, available and safe.
• Repair and maintain the Veolia Fleet, 3rd party vehicles and plant in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards.
• Ensure that all necessary paperwork, and time sheets are completed accurately.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Technician ideally with an NVQ Level 3
• Vehicle Qualification.
• Hold a HGV driving licence.
• Supply your own comprehensive tool kit.

Salary: £39k - £41k - you will be eligible for a sign-on and retention bonus of £3,000

Days: Monday to Friday 6am- 4:15pmAND/OR (option for days, nights or rotating)Nights: Monday to Thursday - 4 x 12 hour shifts 6pm - 6am
