Carbon60 are currently looking for a Buyer for a large engineering and industrial services provider. The position is based on site, in Kinsale, Ireland.

This role is full time Monday to Friday 8:30 - 5:30.

The role is based onsite with no option of hybrid due to the customer requirements.

Salary : 29,000 - 37,000 EUROS (Salary will depend on experience)

Our client is a large engineering company who have over 200 sites across the UK and Ireland. There Kinsale site is in a remote location and therefore we recommend having access to a vehicle for this role.

About -

The main purpose of the buyer role is to procure MRO inventory spares on the computerised maintenance management system.

Duties will include:

1. Processing purchase orders.
2. Generate weekly MRP reports issued from Maximo.
3. Quotation requests for new and existing inventory spares.
4. Ensuring SOP's and data frame works are adhered too.
5. Determine and ensure, compliance, to all data management policies of the company.
6. Document all business findings and ensure compliance to regulation.
7. Utilise the Maximo system for cycle counting and stock checks.
8. Comply with data integrity and security policies.
9. Helps to drive a culture of "Safety and Quality first" setting high expectations for all.

Educational Requirements:

Leaving Cert or equivalent.

The main skills are the ability to use a computerised maintenance management system (Maximo), to procure MRO inventory spares.

Language Requirements:

No special requirements other than a good oral and written skills in English.
