Carbon60 are working with a leading supplier of laser processing tools and laser machine services to hire a Fibre Lensing Machine Operator in the Abingdon area who can operate their large, pre-programmed machine which embeds/ etches information onto fibre optic cable. The product created can then be used in a variety of areas from telecoms to medical devices.

Training can be provided.

Daily duties include:

-Preparation, ready for production

-Loading and unloading of optic fibre assemblies

-Fine adjustments of mechanical alignment before processing

-Quality assurance testing and recording data for finished products

This role is Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 17:30 and based on their Abingdon site.
