Data Cabling Technicians

Carbon60 are currently recruiting for a number of Data Cabling Technicians for a large project covering MOD sites across England and Scotland.

The purpose of the role is the installation and upgrade of Data Centres

We are looking for Technicians with experience working with Cat5e and Cat6 Data cables, installation, testing and termination.

The position will involve travel to various secure sites.

Working in teams of 2 to 4.

Other equipment being worked on will include:

• UTP, STP, FTP and Co-Ax cables.
• Single mode and milti-mode fibre cables.
• Connection units
• Hubs, Switches, routers and patch panels.

All candidates will need to have a full clean drivers licence.

All candidates will need to be able to pass a full British eyes only SC clearance.

Pay - £200 per day (Umbrella or CIS)

Fuel card provided (use of own Vehicle, no company vehicles available)

Accommodation/Hotel provided for overnight stays while on job if required.

Contract is expected to last until April 2024.
