Contract and Engineering Manager

Carbon60 are currently looking for an Engineering Manager to work for a client of ours based in Kilmarnock. They are looking for someone who is going to grow and maximise the business, challenge the status quo and make a difference culturally maintaining discipline.

This Engineering Manager position is based in Kilmarnock how ever you will need to also cover the north of England, due to this you will be provided with a car allowance. This is a permanent position paying a competitive salary.

Duties include but are NOT limited to:

• Ensure the commercial and contractual elements of each project are understood - and works are planned and delivered accordingly.
• Ensure all projects are planned, managed, and delivered effectively and efficiently by the Project Teams - including ensuring works are delivered within agreed budgets.
• Survey, scope or arrange scoping of site works providing sufficient information and where appropriate costs, for bought out materials and services.
• To produce or support the production of quotations for said works.
• Lead, develop and performance manage the Service team within the area.
• Improve employee engagement and delivery, issue feedback as well as receive it.
• Work with the scheduling/Administration team to maximise utilisation of the engineers including balancing priorities of differing work streams.
• Ensure accuracy of time sheets, expenses, invoices, and reports

We are looking for someone who has previous experience working as an Engineering Manager and has carried out similar duties as those of expected of you for this position. You must be willing to travel due to the area coverage in Scotland and the North of England.
