Pipefitter Welder - TIG Stainless Steel

5 Month + Contract Position - Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm

£25.00 - £28.00 per hour CIS

The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the food processing industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes process pipework and plant installations, planned and preventive maintenance, environmental services and many other engineering services associated with the food and beverage industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a pipefitter welder to join the mechanical engineering division, supporting a major process pipework installation project in Lincoln.

Duties

As a suitably qualified and experienced pipefitter welder you will be working on site at a food production facility in Lincoln LN4 1NJ. Typical duties will include fabricating and butt welding 1" to 4" OD thinwall stainless steel pipework, with a small amount of schedule 10 stainless steel pipework up to 4" diameter along with carbon steel up to 6". Other duties will include fabricating brackets and associated supports along with assisting other pipefitter welders as necessary.

About You

Based ideally in Lincolnshire you will need to live within a commutable distance of LN4 1NJ.

Demonstrable experience of fabricating and TIG welding stainless steel and carbon steel pipework within a food, drink or petro chemical processing environment.

You'll also need to have good all round welding experience with current or previous coding's a definite advantage.
