Due to huge growth through 2022/2023 this business is looking for an experienced Material Stores Coordinator to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business helping to increase profitability for each project.

Responsibilities:

• The purpose of this position is to serve as the on-site principal (within the One Material Management - OMM framework) that coordinates all material availability at the right time and at minimum cost.
• Works with Production, Production Control & Central Material Management functions (Supply Coordinator) to achieve on-time completion of projects as it pertains to Material availability at minimum (logistics) costs.
• Challenge, screen and support Central Purchasing Unit in material requests clarifications and finding local alternative options involving Production and Engineering e.g. optional repairs, alternative P/N's, deferrals etc.

Experience Required:

• Technical / Aviation background, preferably university degree
• Professional experience with aircraft maintenance and overhaul of minimum 3 years
• Good knowledge of other logistics processes (planning & purchasing, warehouse, transport)
