Technical Services Manager - Burton, Tutbury Salary £47,000 (40h p/w) We are pleased to present this is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, diligent, focused individual that really want to make a difference in an exciting, state of the art facility. The Technical Services Manager in Burton is an expert in facility technical management with high service standards. The role is crucial in overseeing the smooth operation and maintenance of the Technical Services ROLE: * Oversee all aspects of Hard Services operations, ensuring efficient Maintenance services in M&E and Building Fabric. * Safeguard the operation of all plant and equipment onsite. * Lead the permit to work system, ensuring utmost safety. * Deliver on company "Management Expectations" across all sectors, supporting your team to surpass business goals. * Oversee an effective maintenance planning system and monitor sub-contractor performance. * Champion client satisfaction, ensuring all SLAs and KPIs are met in line with the contract. * Ensure timely and compliant operational, planned, and reactive maintenance activities. * Uphold all Health & Safety legislation and practices. * Maintain meticulous records concerning operations, maintenance schedules, and costs, regularly reporting to Unilever and other clients. * Cultivate solid client relationships through clear communication and understanding their needs. * Ensure team training in system operations, Health and Safety, and other essential areas. * Produce detailed operational and managerial reports as per client requirements. Essential: * HND, NVQ, or equivalent in a relevant field. * Expertise in managing annual Hard Services budgets. * Proven track record of meeting contractual targets, PM schedules, and KPIs. * Extensive experience with stringent permit to work systems. * Membership in IOSH or equivalent. * Comprehensive Facility Management experience, particularly in risk assessment. * Knowledge of building services and plant engineering. * Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet tools. * Strong understanding of Health and Safety and relevant legislation. * Excellent people management and negotiation skills. * High self-motivation and impeccable organizational abilities.
