CNC Grinder

Carbon60 are currently recruiting for an experienced Manual Grinder to join a world renown Aerospace manufacturing company based in Hayes, London.

The purpose of the position is to operate all types of Grinding Machinery to produce aircraft components to precision measurements and limits.

This role is being hired on a straight permanent basis on a double days shift: Working times - Week one: 06:00 - 14:00. Week two: 14:00 - 22:00. Responsibilities:

• Operate all types of grinding machines within the workshop.
• Work from detailed technical drawings to ensure components are kept within tight tolerances.
• Use of both cylindrical and surface grinding machines.
• Complete and maintain PER book (practical experience record)

Experience Required:

• Previous experience using grinding machinery is essential for this role.
• Knowledge of various grinding machines such as internal and external, cylindrical and surface.
• Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings.
• Previous experience in the aerospace sector is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to work on won or as part of a team.
