One of the UK's most well-known aviation MRO providers are going through an impressive growth as their business demands have grown and continue to do so going into 2024. We are currently looking for inspectors to join the already brilliant team in Hayes.

The role:

• This position will be responsible for the detailed inspection of aircraft components using a variety of inspection tools such as verniers, calipers and gauges.
• You will be focusing on the measurements and if the components meet the required specifications. You will not be checking the quality of the component (checking for dents, breakages or discoloration).
• All work will be recorded on the internal QMS (quality management system)
• Creation and modification of component and repair routes within SAP.
• Maintain detailed records of quality issues and routes for cost effective repair.
• Liaise with other engineering departments to ensure quality standards and procedures are adhered to.

Working hours:

This position will be on a double days shift Monday to Friday. Week 1: 06:00 - 14:00 Week 2: 14:00 - 22:00 A shift allowance of £3223 will be paid on top of the annual salary.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within an inspection role using manual measuring tools is essential for this position.
• Needs to have a good understanding of a mechanical engineering environment.
• Previous experience working with QMS or SAP based IT systems.
• Ability to work on a shift basis.
• Strong attention to detail.
