SME Account Manager

Carbon60 are recruiting for an experienced SME Account Manager to work for a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.This SME Account Manager position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. The ideal candidate will have experience working within an engineering environment and have great communication skills. Role Responsibilities will include:

• Central contact for operational topics at customer accounts, reporting to Head of Customer Service & Account Management in Hamburg
• Administrating repair events for our airline and aviation MRO customers in the region
• Negotiating sales orders with airline and aviation MRO customers
• Build-up of a relationship network in the European and particular UK market
• Monitor and develop the account's due payment process
• Handling, co-ordinating and documenting customer queries
• Handling local material with external service providers
• Arrange and document material supply measures
• Arrange the return of the equipment to the customer and/or repair facilities
• Handle special assignments and projects

Skills and Experience required:

• Technical education such as aeronautical engineering, aviation or comparable is desired
• Experience with business analytics and engineering
• Relevant work experience in material management, in a technical background or in maintenance and repair of aircrafts
• Experience in working with commercial responsibility
• Knowledge of German is desirable
