Carbon60 are looking to recruit an experienced Handyperson to join their client's site in Slough. You will be working for a facilities management company, based at a static site doing general maintenance works such as basic plumbing, carpentry, and basic decorating tasks including painting.

Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm.

Salary: £35,000

Role:

• Diagnose faults, testing, and repairing systems ranging from water & sanitation to fixtures and building fabrics.
• Ensure the aesthetic and functional integrity of building finishes, fixtures, and fittings.
• Engage in basic plumbing, carpentry, painting & decorating tasks.
• Oversee contractors, ensuring compliance with site rules and regulations.
• Identify and recommend solutions for life cycle issues, supporting continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the site's 5s programme, ensuring a streamlined operational environment.
• Diligently document defects or potential issues in the company CMMS (Maximo).
• Five years of hands-on experience in building services.

Requirements:

• Five years of hands-on experience in building services.
• A background in regulated working environments.
• A technical qualification in a recognized trade, showcasing your expertise. (Desired)
