An exciting opportunity has arisen, due to continued growth of a leading global industrial and energy company, with a strong presence in all five continents. They are looking for a Project Development Valuation Manager to join their UK team based in London.Your role will encompass:

  • Assist and lead in origination of new opportunities in PV, Batteries, Wind Onshore and H2 projects
  • Coordinate / co-work with multidisciplinary teams of internal and external advisors
  • Prepare and manage regional financial models, with close cooperation with the Project Finance team
  • Prepare, report, and analyse key financial metrics for projects, including IRR and internal profitability metrics
  • Prepare initial investment memos for internal approval to kick off due diligence process
  • Prepare investment committee papers and reporting activities to the company's top management
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Strategy and M&A team with regards to project approval processes
  • Assist on key commercial documentation (MOU, LOI, DSA...), specifically from the financial aspect of valuation for commercial purposes (valuation of offers for specific projects in line with internal benchmarks)
  • Manage regional consultant communication for provision of market reports and other market specific analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, related fields
  • At least 3+ years of energy and or financial sector experience with successful track records
  • Knowledge of renewable energy, utility, and market
  • Strong experience of infrastructure / energy financial modelling
  • Exposure to Project Finance and understanding of debt sizing for purposes of modelling valuation
  • Analytical skills to collate and generate reports for projects
  • Strong Office skills, specifically in Excel (knowledge and application of VBA macros is a plus), Word, and PowerPoint
  • CFA, related certifications, or Master's degree are a plus
  • Fluency or high proficiency in English is essential
