This company, a global player in the Automotive supply sector, has a deserved reputation for excellence and innovation. Currently, they have a need to recruit a Product Development Engineer to be based at their facility near Milton Keynes, a superb opportunity to play an integral part in creating a world class product line for the most prestigious automotive customers. You will be predominantly involved in development of plastic interior parts , combining project management with customer interfacing and problem solving skills.

The Role

Project manage the development of interior Automotive parts

Manage cost reduction exercises

Lead Design changes

Problem solve using engineering and analytical tools within the requirements of TS16949

Be the interface between R&D and internal / external stakeholders

The Individual

Ideally educated to HND in a Mechanical Engineering discipline

Competent CAD user , ideally CATIA V5

Have a good knowledge of design /development of interior Automotive parts

Experience of interior ambient lighting and moving mechanisms parts advantageous

Understanding of injection moulding as a manufacturing process
