Full Time Permanent Position Monday - Friday 7.30am - 16.00pm

The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in process pipework projects, mechanical installations and machine maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanical maintenance fitter to join the company, supporting a major project in Milton Keynes,MK10 0AL.

Duties

As an experienced mechanical maintenance fitter you will be working within a food production facilities in Milton Keynes. Primary responsibilities will be to carry out planned, preventive and reactive maintenance to heavy industrial production plant and equipment. Specific duties will include refurbishing and repairing heavy duty pumps, motors, conveyors, mixers, heaters and pipework, so a sound knowledge of rollers, bearings, shafts, gearboxes, pneumatics and hydraulics is essential for this role. You may also be required to fabricate and weld brackets and supports as required to keep plant down time to a minimum.

About you

Based ideally in Milton Keynes you will need to live within a commutable distance of MK10 0AL . Travel expenses and accommodation costs are not covered with this role .

Demonstrable experience of heavy industrial machine maintenance with hands-on knowledge of process plant and equipment along with good fault finding skills are essential for this role.

Fabrication and MIG TIG welding experience would be advantageous.
