Programme Management Apprenticeship

Telec is offering an opportunity to become a qualified Programme Manager with their new Level 3 Programme Management Apprenticeship Programme in Bury St Edmund's. As an Apprentice Programme Manager, you will be supported through your Level 3 Projects Control Tech apprenticeship 3-year course. You will work closely with the established planning & project teams, taking an active role to support the delivery of the City Fibre fibre project in Norfolk & Suffolk and wider business goals.

You will learn the ropes of Programme Management by:

• Working on various projects and being responsible for scheduling and programming construction activities.
• Ensuring that planning programmes are developed, monitored, and reported on at all stages of the project planning cycle.
• Making sure all departments are staying on time with all aspects of the Project & updating the project planner.
• Liaising with client and attending customer sites on ad-hoc basis.

No prior experience is required; however, you will bring:

• A can-do attitude with attention to detail & accuracy.
• A sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft project and Gantt charts (training will be available).
• Excellent time management skills and flexible approach.
• The ability to take ownership of tasks and work on your own initiative.
• Being a natural problem solver who performs well under pressure and multitasking.

This role will be part of City Fibre's nationwide effort to rebuild Britain's ageing copper networks with reliable, gigabit capable fibre optic. Telec is City Fibre's build partner in the region.
