Overview:

We are currently searching for a Permanent Recruitment Consultant to join our Cardiff team based at Cardiff Gate. Working with a well-established team of recruiters you will work within a fun and fast paced environment that has a great working culture, infrastructure in place to help take your career to the next level.

What we are looking for:

We all know that there is good and bad in every industry but as an experienced recruiter in this market there has never been a better time to explore new opportunities. If you are a Permanent (360) Recruitment Consultant and still hungry to achieve in the industry yet totally fed up with your current agency, sick of making 101 cold calls a day before you can leave your desk and go home, have little or no support infrastructure from your management and on call 24/7 with unrealistic bonus thresholds. Equally, you might be someone who wants to work for a company that really cares about its employees and not live in fear of redundancy every 5 minutes, who wants a supportive management team who will always work with you to achieve your goals - THIS IS WHAT CARBON 60 CARDIFF CAN OFFER.

Carbon 60 will consider all levels of recruitment experience and expertise as the opportunity can be tailored to the successful applicant. While a 360 / full life cycle recruiter is preferred it is not the only type of opportunity we are recruiting for at present. For example - we do not necessarily need someone who has experience in cold calling and business development as we have plenty of vacancies from clients that we are engaged with and partnering with at a strategic level at the moment that a "delivery focused" or "sourcing partner" who wants to focus on the candidate side of things without having to make a single sales call to prospective new companies - with the amount of work Carbon 60 currently have on you will probably not need to make a cold call for at least 6 months - if at all.

Your new market

The successful individual will be focusing on white collar permanent vacancies such as FM Managers, Maintenance Supervisor/Managers, Design Engineers, Mechanical and electrical Engineers, manufacturing, automotive and environmental vacancies. Please note while we would prefer someone from this recruitment arena, here at Carbon 60 we believe "recruitment is recruitment" and can give you the necessary training and support if you are an experienced recruiter looking to cross train from a different sector.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Build good working relationships with clients, candidates, peers, and managers.
  • Proactively monitor client requirement trends to enable Carbon60 to respond proactively to changing client needs.
  • Advertising vacancies on a variety of job boards and social media.
  • Proactively maintain contact with clients and candidates, providing exceptional service.
  • Deliver contract and/or permanent assignments to meet client needs.
  • Qualify candidate's suitability for a position through interview.
  • Develop a network of candidates who may be suitable for sector specific roles
