Grounds Maintenance Gardener

An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Gardener, Groundsperson or Landscaper to work on the maintenance team for a large healthcare facility in South Manchester. This is an all year round long term contract position and the role will require some recent experience in a Grounds Maintenance position.

You will be tasked with maintenance of the facility grounds and garden areas.

Your duties will involve but not limited to:

• Maintaining pathways
• Maintaining and cutting lawned areas
• Tidying other 'green' areas
• Removing and disposing of 'green' waste and debris
• Hedge cutting
• Gritting car parks and paths in winter periods
• Ensuring facility is free of any external health & safety hazards

Applicants will ideally have:

• Ideally at least 2 years experience working as a Gardener or Groundsperson on commercial facilities
• Previous experience working with associated power tools and plant
• Spraying Certificates preferred but not essential
• A flexible attitude to the duties you are asked to perform
• A reliable work history.

This is available for an immediate start for the right person. Due to the nature of the site you may need to undergo a DBS check and be able to provide recent work references.
