Head of Technical Services
£75,000 - 85,000 per annum plus benefits
My client, a global construction and FM group are looking for someone to join the team as the Head of Technical Services and lead all Hard Service staff and activities on the account
The role will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and report directly to the Account Director, with circa seven direct reports (Manager Level) and overall responsibility for circa fifty maintenance staff.
The Role brief
Based at University Central Hospital London the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of hard services across the account. This includes the main site and 10 others in the Euston area.
Part of this position is to be consistently looking for ways/areas of improvement across the account such as rolling out a new CAFM system across the sites and ensuring a robust management strategy is put in place for asset maintenance, assisting in the development of mobile tech solutions to assist those on site and managing any potential sub-contractors.
Safety is paramount which is why you will be tasked with promoting strict adherence to SFG20 and associated regulations.
Estate reviews are common practice to ensure compliance with SLA's, schedules and resources
Recruitment, you will be responsible for retaining talent and working with our preferred suppliers and internal team to plan for growth of the division.
To be suitably qualified with a recognised technical qualification in either a construction, mechanical or electrical discipline. Ideally to be Chartered.
Experience of leading Estates teams within the FM Sector, preferably within Healthcare and with a broad understanding of maintenance and construction Health and Safety law and legislation
Relationships and leadership - In a client facing role relationships are paramount so the successful applicant will need to be confident dealing with all levels of stakeholders and managing and motivating the relevant teams to make sure a first class service is provided.
