Carbon60 Birmingham are currently recruiting for a maintenance planner for one of our well known social housing companies within the Coventry area

Due to increased staffing they are looking for another Maintenance planner to join there team

Our client is one of the largest and most successful housing groups in the Midlands providing around 30,000 homes with a turnover of £140 million per year. Reporting to the HomeWorks Senior Maintenance Planner, the successful applicant will be responsible for the scheduling of maintenance works using our Dynamic Resource Scheduling solution along with contributing to the provision of customer focused end to end operational and administrative support to a team of Trade Engineers, Supervisors, Surveyors and Managers.

In addition, the role will encompass all aspects relating to the raising, appointing and completion of all works orders required to fulfil HomeWorks' maintenance obligations using our external contractor portal and / or the in-house housing management system. This will include the raising of works and or purchase orders to contractors and or suppliers supporting the maintenance operation.

The post requires a clear understanding of repair service goals and targets; and the ability to deploy resources to meet such targets. Also required is the ability to undertake customer satisfaction exercises and to identify service or system improvements that will improve customer outcomes.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday 11:00-19:00 which may soon be changing to 10:00-18:00

This is a temporary position of 12 Weeks which may result in you being taken on permanently (depending on work result)

Due to the nature of the role applicant are required to have a clean DBS

£10.58 per hour / £20,407.73 per annum

Desirable: A driver licence / Car and knowledge of opti-time or a similar dynamic resourcing scheduling tool

Essential: A clean DBS and experience within a similar role with a brief understanding of the role
